“Just wanted to post about an experience I just had! A couple of days ago, I posted asking for recommendations regarding my 3 y/o daughter with a urinary tract infection. (Thank you for the responses I received!) I took her in for her 3 year old check up on Tuesday afternoon. While there, I mentioned to the nurse practitioner that she has been complaining of her “pee pee hurting.” (Recently potty trained.) I also told her that on Monday, I had wiped her bottom and there was pink tinged urine present. SO, the NP obviously wanted to dip her urine. The results were: positive for blood, positive for leukocytes, positive for nitrates. Typically all three of these things together= urinary tract infection for sure! She gave me a Rx for an antibiotic (advised me that she may have abdominal pain with it along with red stool…don’t take within 2hours of anything containing iron.)
/ She also said that she would send the urine to the lab for a culture. I would receive a call in 3 days telling me whether to continue the antibiotic, change to a new antibiotic, or stop the antibiotic depending on what the results showed. I had started with an oil regimen on Tuesday morning anyway, because I knew she had a uti! So I opted NOT to start the antibiotics (at least until I received the results of the culture). I struggled with this decision because it was the first time that I have been confronted with this situation…and I am a nurse so I have been surrounded by only western medicine up until a few months ago!!! So I continued treating my daughter 4 times per day on Tuesday and Wednesday along with diffusing in her room at night. Due to wonderful guidance from Karina Vaas Sammons, I was always applying the oils with prayer. Wednesday night, I even asked God to please show me that I was either making the right decision or not by withholding the antibiotic. Thursday afternoon, I received a phone call that the urine specimen had become contaminated in transit to the lab and needed to be redone. So I took her back to the office and obtained a new urine sample. I asked the nurse practitioner if she would mind dipping her urine again before sending it to the lab just for good measure as I had not been giving her the antibiotic. She agreed…and the urine was CLEAN!!! No blood, no leukocytes, no nitrates! She was amazed! And I was affirmed with an answered prayer!!!

(Just wanted to let you know which oils I am using! 1 drop of cassia, on guard, oregano, and frankincense mixed with fco and applied to low abdomen and kidneys. Also, same concoction on bottoms of both feet on reflex points. Diffusing lemongrass, cassia, and on guard!)”
